 me simple rules that all accountants and bookkeepers follow. Here&rsquo\;s

 op\, attendees will learn the importance of bookkeeping and accounting\, a
 nd why these functions are needed for a business to survive. </span></p>\n

 rt with\, users will gain some practical skills in numbers\, rearranging s
 imple equations\, and some important calculator skills. </span></li>\n<li 
 style="text-align: left\;"><span style="color: #000000\;">Afterward\, they
  will hear about the fundamental principles of bookkeeping and accounting 
 for managers\, auditors\, and the tax authorities. </span></li>\n<li style
 ="text-align: left\;"><span style="color: #000000\;">Users will learn the 
 time-honored rules of double-entry bookkeeping and how to prepare the two 
 principal financial statements: the balance sheet (also known as the state
 ment of financial position) and the profit and loss account (also known as
  the income statement). </span></li>\n<li style="text-align: left\;"><span
  style="color: #000000\;">Finally\, the users will be introduced to the bo
 okkeeping and accounting functions using basic spreadsheets and accounting

 bout the African American Research Library and Cultural Center&nbsp\;</str
 ong><br /><a href="https://www.broward.org/library/Pages/BranchDetails.asp
 x?branchInfo=1">The Broward County African American Research Library and C
 ultural Center (AARLCC)</a> is located in the Sistrunk community\, one of 
 the oldest historically Black communities named for one of Fort Lauderdale
 &rsquo\;s first Black physicians. Opening to the public on October 26\, 20
 02\, AARLCC became the third public library of its kind in the United Stat
 es dedicated to the study of Black history and culture. The 60\,000 square
 -foot Center serves as a repository of materials related to the local\, na
 tional\, and international voices of the African diaspora with more than 8
 5\,000 books\, manuscripts\, artifacts\, framed art\, print\, photography\
 , audiovisual\, and documents held in our Adult Services Section and Speci
 al Collections. The Youth Services Section features a special collection o
 f Coretta Scott King Award books and the Ashley Bryan Art Collection from 
 illustrators of African Descent. AARLCC also features a 5\,000 sq. ft. mus
 eum\, a 300-seat state-of-the-art theatre\, and a Computer Training Center
