 e as an award-winning bestselling author and screenwriter is nothing short
  of awe-inspiring. Hear what it takes to survive and thrive as a writer in
  this virtual interview with Zoe presented in partnership with A Different

 a novelist\, TV writer\, and poet. Her fourth and latest novel is called T
 he Spectacular\, and her third novel\, The Best Kind of People\, was short
 listed for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and is currently being adapted for 
 limited series by director Sarah Polley. Her second novel\, Holding Still 
 for as Long as Possible\, won a Lambda Literary Award for trans fiction an
 d was an American Library Association Stonewall Honor Book. And her debut 
 novel\, Bottle Rocket Hearts\, won the Dayne Ogilvie Prize for LGBTQ Emerg
 ing Writers and is being adapted for screen. Zoe sold her first sitcom\, B
 reaking\, to CTV in 2014\, and recently optioned the comedy\, Wellville\, 
 to CBC. She has worked as a TV writer on the Emmy Award&ndash\;winning com
 edy Schitt&rsquo\;s Creek and the Baroness Von Sketch Show\, for which she
  won a 2018 Canadian Screen Award. Born in the Eastern Townships of Quebec
 \, she currently lives\, works\, and plays in Toronto.</p>\n<p><a href="ht
