 \n<p>Set in 1998 Turkey\, <em>The Final Exam</em> is a classroom drama bas
 ed on actual events. Upholding new academic policy\, a university professo
 r tells a devout young Muslim woman to remove her headscarf in order to wr
 ite a final exam.&nbsp\; Seeing her distress\, the young man beside her fi
 nds a "strategic" way to guard her privacy. (Turkish with English Subtitle
 s).&nbsp\; Run time of film is 11:23 minutes.</p>\n<p>The Final Exam explo
 res the clash between Religiosity and Secularism.&nbsp\; Though it is set 
 in Turkey\, it speaks to the present moment in Canada\, where in 2019 the 
 province of Quebec passed the Laicity Act (Bill 21) that prohibits public 
 service employees from wearing religious attire while performing their dut
