Who is Ashley Davis? Think Joni Mitchell m eets contemporary Celtic and you&rsquo\;ll get something like the creative force of Davis\, an American singer-songwriter whose voice drifts over th e Great Plains\, north to New York City\, and across the Atlantic. While t his mash-up may classify her work\, Davis&rsquo\;s unique ability to captu re and cross musical traditions ultimately transcends comparison. Her soft -spoken music conjures a genre and world all of its own.
\nAlongside of Davis will be Cormac De Barra. A native of Dublin\, De Barra was raise d in an Irish-speaking family of musicians and singers. He is a third gene ration harper\, having first studied Irish harp with his grandmother\, R&o acute\;isí\;n Ní\; Shé\;\, before studying concert harp in the United States. De Barra has performed across the globe both as a so lo artist and with many of Ireland&rsquo\;s most respected and well-known artists including Clannad\, Dervish\, Altan\, Moya Brennan and Brian Kenne dy.
