 /p>\n<p>What makes a story great? What makes someone a good storyteller? S
 torytelling is something we all do naturally\, starting at a young age\, b
 ut there&rsquo\;s a difference between good storytelling and great storyte
 lling. Through this class\, presented on Zoom\, you will hear from Pixar d
 irectors and story artists about how they got their start and what stories
  inspire them\, and you&rsquo\;ll begin to think about what kinds of stori
 es you might want to tell. This is a six-part class with an optional final
  project.</p>\n<p><strong>Project:</strong></p>\n<p>Each participant is en
 couraged to take what they have learned about storytelling and tell a stor
 y based on their life experiences. Individuals who would like to share the
 ir story with others will be recorded by Direction Home or ASCPL staff. In
  the month of June\, these stories will be available on our Dial a Story a
 s part of the Late Night Summit ArtSpace&rsquo\;s Art Walk: Creative Aging
 . This is a family friendly forum for others to hear and enjoy your story.
 </p>\n<p>Local recordings will be stored in Summit Memory and offered to S
 ummit and Stark County Historical Society's for preservation.&nbsp\;&nbsp\

 ummit Memory is administered by the Akron-Summit County Public Library.</p

 Canton Area Agency on Aging &amp\; Disabilities (Direction Home Akron Cant
 on) is a private\, non-profit organization that helps older adults and peo
 ple with disabilities thrive in the places they want to call home. They&nb
 sp\;take a&nbsp\;person-centered approach&nbsp\;to care. This is in part d
 ue to the dedicated people who lead them.</p>\n<p>In an initiative started
  in 2020 called Aging as an Art Form\, Direction Home wants to change the 
 narrative about what it means to grow older. Their goal is to show our com
 munities that older adults are some of the most creative\, vital\, and pro
