 is the George F. Jewett Distinguished Professor of Leadership at the Unive
 rsity of Puget Sound in Tacoma\, Washington. He has published three other 
 books: "Alanson B. Houghton: Ambassador of the New Era\," "Black sheep Lea
 dership\," and "The Art of Command." He is now finishing a new book\, "Bad
  Generals\, Bad Admirals: Unethical and Criminal Leadership in the U.S. Mi
