Let&rsquo\;s have some fun focusing on our young queen inner self through yoga and play featuring experienced facili tators Selam Debs and Neva Ezzat. The program will help young queens to re focus on their mind and body in a relaxed atmosphere.
\nThis program is offered on zoom and comes with a free goodie bag filled with love incl uding The Canadian Black History Activity Book for Kids Volume 2 which cel ebrates the accomplishments of inspiring Black Canadians and so much more.
\nRegistration is required.
\nPlease register for each attend ee in your household so you receive the right number of goodie bags. Goodi e bags can be picked up at Idea Exchange\, Queens Square location (1 North Square\, Cambridge) between February 10-12 during regular service hours ( 10:00am-6:00pm). \nSelam is a Black Ethiopian queer woman\, an antiracism educator\, an anti-oppression coach\, a social justi ce advocate\, a student in dismantling anti-Black racism\, an accomplice i n dismantling anti-Indigenous racism\, xenophobia\, Islamophobia and an ad vocate in 2SLGBTQ+ &\; disability rights through an intersectional lens .
\nShe is the founder of Juici Yoga\, a yoga and meditation instruc tor\, a restorative yoga teacher trainer\, a holistic life coach\, a reiki master\, and a Lululemon Ambassador.
\nSelam is first and foremost\ , A MOTHER. I am a singer and a songwriter\, a poet and a practitioner of self-acceptance\, self-love\, and radical compassion.
\nSelam&rsquo\ ;s Antiracism work is rooted in the understanding that we must acknowledge and identify the insidiousness of white supremacy before we can dismantle colonial belief systems. The process of undoing\, unlearning and re-educa ting is necessary for white communities to embark on\, to support the heal ing journey for our racialized communities.
\nSelam is also a board member of Project UP\, Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region (S ASCW) and Women's Entrepreneur Centre of Laurier University.

\nNeva Ezzat is a 24-year-old Egyptia n Canadian who is a radical advocate for Feminism and Diversity. She is cu rrently the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for Kinbridge by day and a n Abstract artist and expressionist by night! Neva has been running progra ms and creating art centered around the mindfulness and wellbeing of femal e-identifying youth for three years now and have currently expanded her wo rk to all ages and genders. Her work is always centered around long-term g rowth\, representation\, liberation\, and social justice.
