Tonika Lewis Johnson is a photographer and visual artist and life-long resident of Chicago's South Side. What starte d as a photographic study evolved into a multimedia exploration with video interviews\, a large-scale interactive map exhibition\, and a web site. T he project invites audiences to open a dialogue and question how we are al l impacted by social\, racial\, and institutional conditions that segregat e the city.
