X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Register for this event to join a facilita
ted discussion to reflect together with other community members participat
ing in the Stand Against Racism Challenge. We'll have a discussion every T
hursday in April.</p>\n<p>Sign up for the <a href="https://www.ywcaneks.or
 g/what-we-do/advocate/challenge/">Stand Against Racism Challenge</a> throu
gh the YWCA Northeast Kansas.</p>\n<p>Questions to explore as you reflect
on the reading\, listening and learning from this week:</p>\n<p>How did th
e activities make you feel?<br />What actions have you taken based on the
activities?<br />What actions would you like to take?<br />What further re
sources (reading\, research\, tools\, and/or strategies) do you need to ta
ke<br />action?</p>\n<p>The Stand Against Racism Challenge is designed to
create dedicated time and space to build more effective social justice hab
its\, particularly those dealing with issues of race\, power\, privilege\,
and leadership.</p>\n<p>Each day of the challenge you will be presented w
ith activities such as reading an article\, listening to a podcast\, refle
cting on personal experience and more. Participation in an activity like t
his helps us to discover how racial injustice and social injustice impact
our community\, to connect with one another\, and to identify ways to dism
antle racism and other forms of discrimination.</p>\n<p>We hope that you w
ill go into this challenge with an open heart and an open mind\, ready to
be pushed out of your comfort zone. We know these discussions can be diffi
cult and can bring up powerful emotions\, but your commitment to increasin
g your awareness is what will help move our community forward.</p>\n<p>Zoo
m links and reminders will be sent the day before the sessions to everyone
  registered.</p>\n<p>Questions? Email connect@tscpl.org</p>\nhttps://tscpl
