The Euphorigen Investigation is an online escape
room that immerses players in a world of manipulated media\, social media
bots\, deepfakes and other forms of deception. \; \; \;

For years a supplement called &ldquo\;Euphorigen'' has
been used by the very wealthy to boost brain activity and productivity. No
w the Government wants to make the benefits of Euphorigen available to eve
ryone by introducing it into the public water supply. The company that mak
es Euphorigen claims to have completed successful trials\, and an announce
ment of the deal is expected shortly. But your investigator friend has sus
picions\, and has heard that a prominent scientist has recorded a statemen
t on whether or not the company&rsquo\;s claims are to be believed. She&rs
quo\;s asked you to help find and share that information with the public.
You have under an hour to track down whatever information you can on Eupho
rigen to uncover the truth\, and spread the word! \; \;

This escape room was developed by the University of Washing
ton as a research project. Participants need to be 14 years of age or olde
r and will need to consent to allowing the UW to record the game and to co
mplete a brief survey about the experience. Participants between the ages
of 14 and 17 will need to sign the Teen Consent Form along with a parent o
r guardian and return to Central Library or email to tashby@calcasieulibra
