Turner\, Executive Director of the Black Metropolis National He ritage Area Commission\, as he takes us on a tour to the Walk of Fame and other neightborhood landmarks\, as well as an exploration of the Great Mig ration that transformed the Black Belt into the Black Metropolis. \;< /p>\n
Mr. Turner is a \;contributing writer and national trainer for Black History 365\, an inclusive account of American history\, and he&nbs p\;also serves on the board of the Camp Douglas Restoration. \; As a g allery interpreter for the Chicago History Museum\, Mr. Turner has conduct ed tours and activities with school groups and led city-wide and neighborh ood tours in Chicago. At Highlights of Chicago Press\, Bernard is author a nd publisher of several books about Chicago\, including A New View of Bronzeville\, Chicago Neighborhoods with Flavor&mdash\;Getting Out of the Loop\, and children&rsquo\;s books such as Tate and His Historic Dream and Science Makes Friends.
