For those who have completed the Uke Can D o It workshop\, or have previous ukulele experience. \; Outdoor sessio n to take place in the Lions Civic Gardens behind the Isabel Turner branch .
\nPer the provincial regulations around outdoor gatherings\, atten dees will need to practice social distancing and to wear a mask or face co vering in a manner that covers their face\, nose and chin when they are wi thin two metres of another individual who is not part of their household.& nbsp\; Although the session will be held under a tree\, participants shoul d dress appropriately (eg a hat and sunscreen) and bring their own water. Each musician will be asked to supply a lawn chair to sit on and something to serve as a music stand (eg a second lawn chair). \; Sheet music\, and resource links will be provided via email before the event. \; The re will be two backup library ukuleles available. In case of inclement wea ther (ie rain\, or if the temperature or humidex surpasses 36°\;C\, or if an air quality advisory has been issued)\, the outdoor jam session will be cancelled and participants will be notified. Unfortunately we aren't c urrently able to reschedule the session for a later date.
