The Creative Community Hive \;is a pop-up community craftin g platform that provides a safe\, \;non-judgmental space for people wi th or without any prior crafting experience. Aligned with OPL's Creation Z one values\, the Hive aims to connect community\, encourage the sharing an d learning of skills\, and explore creative expression.

During thi s in-person introductory program\, a Creative Community Hive volunteer wil l demonstrate how to use a sewing machine to make a simple upcycled book b ag. Participants will learn basic machine operation\, straight stitching a nd turned corners.

Each participant will be provided a sewing mach ine and materials\, courtesy of Creative Community Hive. All participants must provide their own mandatory safety eyewear.
