ormed by Largely Literary Theater Company co-founders Mark Dawidziak (as T
wain) and Sara Showman.
In addition to playing Twain on stage for more than forty years\, Dawidziak is an internationally recognized Twain s cholar whose books about the iconic American writer include Mark Twain in Ohio\, Mark Twain's Guide to Diet\, Exercise\, Beauty\, Fashi on\, Romance\, Health and Happiness and Mark Twain for Cat Lovers . He and Showman have presented Twain By Two throughout Ohio\, as wel l as at the Mark Twain House in Hartford\, Connecticut\, the Center for Ma rk Twain Studies in Elmira New York\, the Thurber House in Columbus and th e Barter Theatre in Abingdon\, Virginia.

Showman. Their mission is to promote literature\, literacy and live theat
er. For the past twenty years\, they have toured all over Ohio and perform
ed in Michigan\, Virginia\, Connecticut and New York. They have produced f
aithful adaptations of works by Edgar Allan Poe\, Mark Twain\, Robert Loui
s Stevenson. Dashiell Hammett\, Walt Whitman\, Rod Serling\, Ambrose Bierc
e and Charles Dickens. Showman is also a storyteller\, who performs for bo
th children and adults. Her shows include folktales\, historical tale\, or
iginal stories and seasonal offerings. They have participated in three Nat
ional Endowment For The Arts Big Reads and twice in the annual celebration
of all things Twilight Zone in Binghamton\, New York. They have also perf
ormed at the Center For Mark Twain Studies in Elmira\, New York.
