 Create your own 17-syllable masterpiece on one of the following topics:&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>your love of books\, reading or the libr
 ary</li>\n<li>something small that gives you joy&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>DC in sp
 ringtime</li>\n<li>noticing your neighborhood</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Haikus tradi
 tionally have three lines of 5 syllables/7 syllables/5 syllables. Poets of
  all ages are eligible to enter and may submit up to two haikus.&nbsp\;&nb
 sp\;</p>\n<p>Prize-winners will take home library swag. All submissions wi
