 haped the lives of learners for forty years\, as a classroom teacher\, sch
 ool principal\, and superintendent of schools\, ending her career as the P
 resident of Cambrian College in Ontario. In retirement\, she has turned he
 r hand to her life-long love of story-telling. Her short stories have appe
 ared in CommuterLit and in Fifteen Stories High 2021\, an anthology of sho
 rt stories\, published by the Canadian Authors Association\,&nbsp\;Niagara
  Branch.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Barnard holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and Ger
 man from Wilfrid Laurier University\, a Bachelor and a Master of Education
  from the University of Toronto. She has also completed a graduate certifi
 cate in Creative Writing from Humber College.</p>\n<p>The child of immigra
 nts\, Barnard grew up north of Lake Superior. She avidly travels\, hikes t
 he woods in her backyard\, kayaks\, and produces stained glass art when sh
 e isn&rsquo\;t writing. She lives with her husband and two dogs near Penet
 anguishene\, Ontario.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><em>Rhubarb\, Strawberries\, and Will
