 mily Lisska has actively researched\, preserved\, presented\, and promoted
  North Florida&rsquo\;s unique and diverse history for more than three dec
 ades. Emily is immediate past-president and current board member of the Fl
 orida Historical Society. She is former Executive Director of the Jacksonv
 ille Historical Society (1996-2018).</p>\n<p>Why was the narrow crossing o
