Known for her innovative choreography\, Loi e danced in Chicago and across the country before making her Paris debut i n 1892 where she became arguably the most famous dancer in the world. Now\ , 160 years since her birth\, Loie's hometown of Hinsdale celebrates her l ife with a series of events sponsored by the Hinsdale Public Library\, Hin sdale Historical Society\, Fullersburg Foundation\, and District 181 Found ation. \;

The Library will host Liz Heinecke\, author of \ ;Radiant: The Dancer\, The Scientist\, and a Friendship Forged in Light wh ich explores the real-life friendship of Loie Fuller and Marie Curie.
