 le/nicole.yunger_halpern">Nicole Yunger Halpern</a></p>\n<p>Author Bio: Ni
 cole Yunger Halpern (CAMBRIDGE\, MA) is a theoretical physicist at the Joi
 nt Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science at the University o
 f Maryland. She earned her PhD at Caltech\, winning the international Ilya
  Prigogine Prize for an energy-science thesis\, and her MSc from the Perim
 eter Institute for Theoretical Physics and the University of Waterloo. She
  won the International Quantum Technology Emerging Researcher Award from t
 he British Institute of Physics as an ITAMP Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard
  University.</p>\n<p>Moderator: <a href="https://uwaterloo.ca/institute-fo
 r-quantum-computing/about/people/jdonohue">John Donohue</a></p>\n<p>Modera
 tor Bio: John Donohue is the scientific outreach manager at the Institute 
 for Quantum Computing (IQC)\, a research institute at the University of Wa
 terloo dedicated to the development of quantum information science and tec
 hnology. John earned his PhD at the University of Waterloo for research in
  quantum science and laser physics.</p>\n<p>This program is presented in p
 artnership with the <a href="https://uwaterloo.ca/institute-for-quantum-co
 mputing/">Institute for Quantum Computing</a> (IQC)\, a research institute
  at the University of Waterloo.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>This program will b
 e delivered with both in person &amp\; virtual attendance options. Registr
