In this program\, led by trainer Cindy Pes trak\, participants will recognize persons who might be having thoughts of suicide and connect them with community resources trained in suicide inte rvention.
\nSafeTALK stresses safety while challenging taboos that i nhibit open talk about suicide.
\nAt a safeTALK workshop\, you'll le arn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs\, engaging someone\, and c onnecting them to an intervention resource for further support.
\nA skilled\, supportive trainer will guide you through the course\, and a com munity resource will be on hand to support your safety and comfort.
