 erator of the Cleveland Park Listserv\, the largest online neighborhood fo
 rum in the US\, now in its 23rd&nbsp\;year with more than 12\,400 members.
  She co-founded it and co-publishes it with her husband Bill Adler.&nbsp\;
  Peggy will discuss the origins of the listserv\, how it&rsquo\;s grown an
 d changed over the years\, and how to make the best use of its features. S
 he also will reveal some of the stranger things that have happened\, inclu
 ding a real-life as well as cyber-stalker\, multiple adventures with hacke
 rs and shills\, and the true story of the Cuban exiles and their attempt t
 o bombard the Listserv with &ldquo\;Free Elian Gonzales&rdquo\; messages.<
 /p>\n<p>Peggy is the author\, co-author\, or compiler of more than a dozen
  nonfiction books\, including:&nbsp\;Saving the Neighborhood: You Can Figh
 t Developers and Win!\; The Safe Nanny Handbook\;&nbsp\;How to Be a Succes
 sful Fertility Patient\; and&nbsp\;Kids&rsquo\; Letters to President Obama
 &nbsp\;. She has appeared on&nbsp\;The Today Show\,&nbsp\;The Maury Povich
  Show\,&nbsp\;The Diane Rehm Show\, and&nbsp\;Jeopardy.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Peg
 gy graduated from University of California\, Berkeley\, and has lived in C
 leveland Park since 1976.</p>\n<p>Peggy will be in conversation with John 
 Barlow Weiner\, President of the Cleveland Park Citizens Association.&nbsp
 \; Barr grew up in New York City and received his BA from Princeton and hi
 s JD from Columbia University School of Law. He has lived in Cleveland Par
 k for the past nine years. He is Assistant Director for Policy in the Food
  and Drug Administration&rsquo\;s Office of Combination Products.</p>\nhtt
