Theatre exercises are centered on movement and language. There are no expectations other than to be introduced to th eatre exercises and discuss the experience!
\nThis series does not i nclude a performance aspect. Participants are asked to bring water and wea r clothes that they can easily move in. Yoga mats and blankets are encoura ged\, but not necessary. No prior theatre experience is necessary. A willi ngness to try is highly desirable!

\nSimone Cottrell (Fayetteville\, AR) is the owner\, founder and creative disruptor of Rachhana Creative Consulting. She is also a multidisciplinary theatre-maker\, specializing in social practice theatre that centers on t raditionally disinvested and disempowered communities. Simone's social pra ctice theatre programs have included the Veterans Health Care System of th e Ozarks\, Workers Justice Center\, Marshallese Educational Initiative\, a nd many other Northwest Arkansas partners. Simone is an alumna of Mississi ppi State University and has trained with Lexington Children's Theatre\, M artha's Vineyard Institute for Creative Writing\, and the Center for Perfo rmance and Civic Practice. She is a 2022 facilitator for Artist INC Expres s - Arkansas\, board member for NWA Girl Gang\, advisor to Her Set Her Sou nd\, and volunteers at the Squire Jehegan Outreach Center and the Museum o f Native American History. Simone's achievements include the 2018 Planetre e Global Person-Centered Healthcare Award\, Interchange Grant 2019\, Artis t 3 60 2019\, and is an Artist INC 2019 Fellow.
