X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>In this class\, participants will learn va
rious submission management systems and discuss the submission process. At
tendees will leave with an inside look into how editors and publishers eva
luate and select work. They will also learn the pros and cons of self-publ
 ishing.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Allison Blevins</strong> is a poet
and publisher who writes confessional free verse poetry and finds inspira
tion in both traditional and pop culture. She writes to confess her sins a
nd connect with a world she feels largely disconnected from as a neurodive
rse person and a person with a physical disability. Her work centers diffe
rence and queerness in a world that seeks to other\, to push her to the ma
rgins. She uses hybrid techniques to open the boundaries of free verse. He
r work lives in a space between poetry\, flash nonfiction\, and abstract a
 rt.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\nhttps://faylib.libnet.info/event/6633666
