 ys Tanis MacDonald walks the reader down many paths\, pointing out the sig
 hts\, exclaiming over birds\, sharing stories and asking questions about j
 ust who gets to walk freely through our cities\, parks and wilderness.</p>
 \n<p><em><strong>Kit Dobson</strong> lives and works in Calgary / Treaty 7
  territory in southern Alberta. His previous books include Malled: Deciphe
 ring Shopping in Canada and he is a professor in the Department of English
  at the University of Calgary.</em></p>\n<p><em><strong>Tanis MacDonald</s
 trong> is an essayist\, poet\, professor and free-range literary animal. S
 he is the host of the podcast Watershed Writers\, and the author of Out of
  Line: Daring to Be an Artist Outside the Big City. She identifies as a ba
 d birder\, and lives near Ose&rsquo\;kow&aacute\;hne in southwestern Ontar
 io as a grateful guest on traditional Haudenosaunee territory.</em></p>\n<
 p><em><strong>Aubrey Jean Hanson</strong> is a member of the M&eacute\;tis
  Nation of Alberta and an Associate Professor at the University of Calgary
 &rsquo\;s Werklund School of Education. Her ancestry extends to M&eacute\;
 tis\, German\, Icelandic\, French\, and Scottish roots.</em></p>\n<p><em><
 strong>Ken Wilson</strong> lives on Treaty 4 territory in oskana k&acirc\;
 -asast&ecirc\;ki (Regina\, Saskatchewan)\, where he teaches English at the
  University of Regina. His creative nonfiction essay &ldquo\;Populus&rdquo
 \; was shortlisted for The Malahat Review&rsquo\;s 2021 Constance Rooke Cr
 eative Nonfiction Prize. His current writing project is a book-length manu
