 building\, including:</p>\n<p>Floor 4: <em><strong>Up from the People: Pro
 test and Change in D.C.\,</strong> </em>is the Martin Luther King Jr. Memo
 rial Library&rsquo\;s permanent exhibit. It was installed as a part of the
  modernization of the Library\, to honor Dr. King&rsquo\;s message and his
  connection to local activism. This permanent exhibit will serve as a port
 al to the Library&rsquo\;s resources\, especially The People&rsquo\;s Arch
 ive\, and a laboratory for engagement with Washington\, D.C.&rsquo\;s past
 \, present\, and future. It features two main galleries:</p>\n<p><em>A Rev
 olution of Values</em>\, in the West Gallery\, provides a fresh look at th
 e issues that moved local activists and Martin Luther King Jr. to take act
 ion for justice.</p>\n<p><em>D.C. Represented</em>\, in the East Gallery\,
  highlights local politics and history through displays on D.C. Mayor-For-
 Life Marion Barry\, D.C. home rule\, and the cultural impact of go-go and 
 punk music.</p>\n<p>_____________________</p>\n<p>Floor 5: <em><strong>Inv
 isible Words</strong></em>\, on view March 13-June 30\, 2022\, features a 
 curated collection of signs made by people experiencing homelessness world
 wide. Invisible Words is brought to Washington\, D.C.\, through the Ignati
 an Volunteer Corps (IVC) and the Eleven Eleven Foundation. IVC is a nation
 al lay Catholic organization that harnesses the expertise of individuals o
 ver fifty who have the passion and commitment to make a difference in issu
 es impacting the world. IVC members serve among the materially poor in twe
 nty regions across the US\, reverently entering the lived experience of ot
 hers while providing their skills to over three hundred social service org
 anizations. By co-sponsoring Invisible Words\, IVC seeks to offer a broade
 r audience the opportunity to increase awareness and compassion for people
  facing homelessness and dire poverty.</p>\n<p>For more information visit:
