In this workshop\, local poet Jim O&rsquo\ ;Brien will show you how to create quatrains\, 4-line rhyming poems\, that express your thoughts and feelings. \; We&rsquo\;ll look for inspirat ion in the nature of Crestview Park. \; No prior experience writing po etry is necessary!
\nJim O&rsquo\;Brien's poems have appeared\, some times under his pen name of James Escher\, in \;Images\, Pitkin Review \, Pegasus\, \;Pilcrow &\; Dagger\, \;The Tishman Review\, \;and in the anthology On Our Own\, Widowhood for Smarties by \;Silver Boomer Books. \;He is a member of the \;CUPoetry Group \;in Champaign-Urbana\, IL\, and co-cura tor of the weekly CU Haiku feature in The News-Gazette.
