From American Gothic to Whistler&rsquo\;s Mother to Nighthawks\, there are some images that are so ubiquitous in our culture that we have stopped looking at them closely. This program delves into these iconic works and shares the secret stories behind their creati on and reception.
\nJane Oneail of Culturally Curious holds a master &rsquo\;s in Art History from Boston University and a master&rsquo\;s in E ducation from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She is a NH native and has worked at some of the state&rsquo\;s most esteemed cul tural institutions\, including the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen\, whe re she served as Executive Director\, and the Currier Museum of Art\, wher e she held the role of Senior Educator. Jane founded the Currier&rsquo\;s Alzheimer&rsquo\;s Cafe and led the tour program for the museum and the Fr ank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman House. She has taught Art History at t he college level for more than a decade\, most recently at Southern New Ha mpshire University.
