 >\n<p>This month we explore Zine making with artist Alyssa Pisciotto. In t
 his workshop we will go over the how-tos of zine making\, including basic 
 binding techniques\, followed by guided time for participants to create a 
 tangible zine that explores lived experiences\, truths\, and stories of be
 ing queer\, however that may look for them. Through the format of the zine
 \, channels of accessibility are opened up\, as zines are traditionally lo
 w-budget\, self-published\, and made with anything the maker wants to use.
 </p>\n<p><strong>Instructor Bio:</strong></p>\n<p>Alyssa Pisciotto is a qu
 eer artist from LaSalle\, Ontario and now resides in Toronto. She graduate
 d from OCAD University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts\, majoring in 
 Drawing and Painting and minoring in Printmaking. Painting and printmaking
  are her primary practice. Her current work revolves around themes of colo
 ur\, line and shape\, and how they interact with one another. Alyssa has s
 hown in galleries across Canada and the United States\, and has been a par
 t of a year-long special exhibition at TheMuseum in Kitchener\, Ontario. A
 lyssa is currently working with The Art Gallery of Windsor to create and d
 eliver arts programing with their Art With Heart workshop series.</p>\n<p>
