 r every Wednesday at 6 p.m. from September 7 - October 5.</p>\n<p>Geared f
 or families with children of all ages\, we'll be reading the graphic novel
  <em>El Deafo</em> by CeCe Bell.</p>\n<p>In this funny\, poignant graphic 
 novel memoir\, author/illustrator Cece Bell chronicles her hearing loss at
  a young age and her subsequent experiences with the Phonic Ear\, a very p
 owerful - and very awkward - hearing aid. The Phonic Ear gives Cece the ab
 ility to hear - sometimes things she shouldn't - but also isolates her fro
 m her classmates. She really just wants to fit in and find a true friend\,
  someone who appreciates her as she is. After some trouble\, she is finall
 y able to harness the power of the Phonic Ear and become "El Deafo\, Liste
 ner for All." And more importantly\, declare a place for herself in the wo
 rld and find the friend she's longed for.</p>\n<p><em><strong>Kits for thi
 s online program will be available at the Windsor-Severance Library beginn
 ing Wednesday\, August 31\,</strong></em> and will include a free copy of 
 the book\, as well as supplies for activities and crafts that will take pl
 ace during the program. You may pick up your kit at the library\, or call 
 ahead to arrange Library Takeout. Please email Christy or Trisha if you wo
 uld like to pick up your kit on the bookmobile.</p>\n<p><em><strong>Please
  note that this program is registration-based only\; please register your 
 family as one total registration\, rather than registering each individual
  in your family.</strong></em> If you have more than one child that will b
 e participating in the book club\, please indicate the number so that we c
 an include enough craft supplies for each child. Once you have registered 
 for the program\, we will send you a link to join the book club via Zoom p
 rior to every Wednesday at 6 p.m.\, September 7 - October 5.</p>\n<p><span
