 nsas\, the AMC 10 and the AMC 12 are nationwide mathematics competitions f
 or high school students. The AMC 10 is for students in grade 10 and below\
 ; the AMC 12 is for students in grade 12 and below. The tests include chal
 lenging and fun problems in algebra\, probability\, geometry\, combinatori
 cs and trigonometry. The study group will meet to discuss general problem-
 solving strategies and to work on problems from previous years.</p>\n<p>&n
 bsp\;</p>\n<p>These free group meetings will take place from 6:30&ndash\;7
 :30 p.m. starting Wednesday\, September 7\, and are open to all high schoo
 l students. Tests will be taken offsite.&nbsp\;<br />Students younger than
  8th grade who wish to compete should contact teenquestions@faylib.org.</p
