The series takes pla ce monthly\, September through May. Each month a different topic will be d iscussed covering pertinent legal issues.
\nDo you have a suspended driver license? This session will help you understand the various rules ar ound driver license suspension and the steps that are needed to get one's license back. \;
\nParticipants WILL NOT get their license back as part of this presentation. They will be given information on steps they may need to take to get their license back\, the laws that impact driver licenses in Florida\, and resources on how to get back on the road.
\n< p>Samantha Howell is the Pro Bono Director at Three Rivers Legal Services and is on the planning committee for the Alachua County Driver License Rei nstatement Clinic and the Fourth Judicial Circuit Driver License Reinstate ment Clinic. Samantha Howell has trained dozens of attorneys and law stude nts on the driver license reinstatement \;process and has participated in the clinic for three years\, helping over 50 individuals get on the pa th to reinstatement.\nThree Rivers Legal Services (TRLS) is a local \, non-profit law firm that provides free legal help. With offices in Gain esville\, Jacksonville\, and Lake City\, they provide free civil legal hel p to low income families in seventeen counties. TRLS is dedicated to provi ding quality\, free legal help to individuals as well as legal information and education to groups. They concentrate on Housing Law\, Family Law and Domestic Violence Prevention\, Elder Law\, Education Law\, and Income and Public Benefits issues.
