 ationships that are built between the leader and the followers. From the r
 esearch of James Kouzes and Barry Posner's The Leadership Challenge\, part
 icipants will explore the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership and how t
 hese practices can be put into motion in their own day to day activities. 
 With small group discussion and self reflection\, individuals will walk aw
 ay with a stronger sense of how they can show up authentically as the extr
 aordinary leaders they strive to be.</p>\n<p>Anna Toney\, a Toledo Native 
 is the current executive director at Leadership Toledo. Moving back to the
  area in 2011\, Anna was a participant in the Leadership Toledo class wher
 e she discovered her passion for the non-profit world\, the NW Ohio region
  and celebrating all that it has to offer.&nbsp\; In 2012\, she was hired 
 as the program coordinator for the organization\; eventually becoming the 
 program director for Youth Leadership Toledo. At that time\, she also bega
 n her master&rsquo\;s in organizational leadership at Lourdes University\,
  graduating in 2014.&nbsp\; In 2017\, Anna was hired as only the third exe
 cutive director in the organization&rsquo\;s 40 year history. Since taking
  on that role\, Anna is taking action to keep the vision of cultivating a 
 community of leaders\, both youth and adults\, in the Toledo Region.</p>\n
 <p>In addition to her time with Leadership Toledo\, she sits on the board 
 of Notre Dame Academy and the Valentine Theatre.</p>\n<p>Anna lives in Tol
 edo with her husband\, Kevan and their four children.</p>\n<p>This event i
