 cial intelligence?&nbsp\; Host presenter\,&nbsp\;Keith&nbsp\;McDonald\, br

 of artificial intelligence in a creative and fun way. There are both risks
  and possibilities where AI can either save us or kill us (and likely in b
 etween).&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Keith&nbsp\;riffs on this with humor\, drama\, and m
 ore - using original music\, interviews\, multimedia\, and humor. This is\
 , definitively\, not another speaker lecture with a PowerPoint deck.&nbsp\
 ;<br />NOTE: These sessions are designed specifically for non-technical an
 d non-practitioner audiences.&nbsp\;Attendees will develop enhanced knowle
 dge and awareness of the current impact/influence of artificial intelligen
 ce and where the future of AI and humanity is headed. Most significantly\,
  what the participant can do to mitigate the direct and personal +/- impac
 ts of AI right now.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Information about Keith: Keith&nbsp\;is
  a long-time educator/communicator/presenter best known for his work as th
 e first Open Data Lead with the City of Toronto from 2008 to 2016. His car
 eer history also includes stints with TVOntario\, Centennial College\, UNI
 CEF\, The Ontario Ministry of Education\, the Scarborough Health Departmen
 t\, and\, currently\, the Director of Communications for the GO Open Data 
 Association. For the past six years\,&nbsp\;Keith&nbsp\;has been teaching&
 nbsp\;about Artificial Intelligence\, Social Media\, Privacy\, and Data li
 teracy\, He founded literacyAI&nbsp\;- a mission-driven project - to resea
 rch\, curate\, unpack\, ponder and workshop these subjects to non-practiti
 oner audiences.&nbsp\;He is currently touring two different virtual series
 : "AI and the NEW abnormal" &amp\; "Building a Better&nbsp\;HUMAN BEING&nb
 sp\;with&nbsp\;AI"</p>\n<p>Part 1: <strong>Welcome to the Machine and the 
 China Experience&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>This intros the scope for the ses
 sions and outlines how a visit to China influenced the framework of&nbsp\;
 Keith&rsquo\;s perception of the immediate need to educate around AI. Cove
 rs his research excursion to China\, what is going on there\, and what is 
 happening here and around the world that mirrors China&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;tech
 &nbsp\;evolution/revolution.&nbsp\; Presents a few &ldquo\;food for though
 ts&rdquo\; to be dealt with in the subsequent session such as AI and emplo
 yment\, privacy\, data mining\, and surveillance.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Registrat
