We gather for Preschool Storytime in the E lizabeth Room\, then go as a group out to the River Terrace or up to the 1 833 Room for stories\, movements and songs!
After stories we break in to smaller groups to go into the Eben Jones Classroom for the craft and ch eck books out in the Elizabeth Room.

All preschoolers who enjoy si tting and listening to stories\, and their caregivers\, are welcome (sibli ngs too).

Storytime is more than just developing a love o f stories.
By attending\, children become more comfortable and excite d about visiting the library.
We encourage early reading habits for t he whole family and strive to give parents the tools they need to help the ir children learn and discover.
We also stress the importance of fine motor skills and physical development.
