Join your library to learn about the signi ficance of the Jingle Dress to local Native people\, including the history of how it came to the Ojibwe by a dream\, why it is considered a healing dress and how the Ojibwe gifted it to other tribes.

This program w ill feature a presentation of four Jingle Dresses\, dance demonstrations a nd a drum circle. Artist Christy Goulet will host the program and will giv e a detailed oral account as well as answer audience questions. She is a t ribally enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa.
