 he Indiana Historical Society. She was born and raised in Griffith\, India
 na\, in the northwest corner of the state. Amy graduated with a bachelor&r
 squo\;s degree in history from Purdue University\, Calumet\, now Purdue Un
 iversity Northwest. She moved to Indianapolis to pursue graduate studies a
 t Indiana University-Purdue University\, Indianapolis\, obtaining master&r
 squo\;s degrees in history and library science. Amy began her professional
  career at the Indiana Historical Society in 2005 as a library cataloger\,
