 dely across Turtle Island as a resource\, syllabus\, and most importantly\
 , a call to action. In recognition of National Day of Truth and Reconcilia
 tion on Sep 30\, David A. Robertson joins us virtually to provide context 
 for the list and his thoughts on our continued journey forward.&nbsp\;</p>
 \n<p>David A. Robertson was the 2021&nbsp\;recipient of the Writers&rsquo\
 ; Union of Canada Freedom to Read Award.&nbsp\;He is the author of numerou
 s books for young readers including "When We Were Alone" and "On the Trapl
 ine\," both winners of the Governor General&rsquo\;s Literary Award\, "The
  Barren Grounds\," a finalist for the 2020 Governor General&rsquo\;s Liter
 ary Award\, and "Black Water: Family\, Legacy\, and Blood Memory\," winner
  of the Alexander Kennedy Isbister Award for Non-Fiction. David is the wri
 ter and host of the podcast "K&iacute\;wew\," winner of the 2021 RTDNA Pra
 irie Region Award for Best Podcast. He&nbsp\;is a member of&nbsp\;Norway H
 ouse Cree Nation and currently lives in Winnipeg.</p>\n<p><a href="https:/
