fashion designer Mario Olvera:&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>I am a fash
ion designer by profession\, a craftsman by conviction. Proudly originally
from one of the 5 magical towns of Oaxaca: San Pablo Villa de Mitla\, whe
re I grew up among threads\, looms and sewing machines in my parents' craf
t workshop\, where my father created the fabrics and my mother turned them
into garments\, to dress for the sustenance of my family.</p>\n<p>That ma
rked the inspiration for my professional future because I was convinced th
at with these textiles we could do more than just handicrafts and I got it
at my graduation parade at the Santo Domingo Cultural Center in agreement
with the Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla. After completing the haute
couture diploma for special ceremonies\, I presented a wedding dress crea
ted with loom fabrics\, using embroidery and crochet from my community\, a
piece that marked the beginning of Mario Olivera Moda &Eacute\;tnica.</p>
\n<p>My technique focuses on creating fusion fashion and capturing in each
piece a bit of the art\, culture and tradition of our beautiful state of
Oaxaca through its textiles from practically the 8 regions that make it up
.</p>\n<p>I have had the opportunity to exhibit my designs in various part
s of our state\, as well as nationally and even internationally\, dressing
various beauty pageants who have represented our state and our country in
various contests.</p>\n<p>It fills me with pride to show in each piece th
e art of our indigenous peoples because\, although my pieces are made with
modern cuts\, they do not lose their authenticity since they are hand-emb
roidered by artisans in the different communities\, but without a doubt th
e iconic piece of my brand they are wedding dresses and I hope to continue
creating them and in each piece capture an idea\, a dream that was born i
 n my childhood in a humble craft workshop.</p>\n<p>Soy dise&ntilde\;ador d
 el sustento de mi familia.</p>\n<p>Eso marc&oacute\; la inspiraci&oacute\;
 poner mis dise&ntilde\;os en varios puntos de nuestro estado\, as&iacute\;
