  symbolizes victory of light over darkness\, good over evil\, and knowledg
 e over ignorance.&nbsp\; Let good luck\, peace\, prosperity\, and happines
 s shower on your family and friends with our Rangoli making workshop where
  you can learn an ancient art in which intricate designs are created on th
 e floors and entryways of houses and temples.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Vedic Cultura
 l Center artist\, Himani Agrawal will explain the various Rangoli designs 
 and teach you easy freehand Rangoli making techniques with markers on post
 er board. Adults and families with children age 6 and up (with an adult to
  help) are welcome to participate. No previous experience needed to attend
 \, limited to first 100 attendees. You may bring your own art supplies\, a
 nd your Rangoli can be entered in a contest to win cash prizes from Spokan
 e United We Stand and The Vedic Cultural Center. The judging will be held 
 October 22 at 4pm on the skywalk level of River Park Square.&nbsp\;</p>\n<
 p>By attending library programs\, you are agreeing to potentially appear i
 n photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional mat
