Suzanne Mahler will share lovely images of butterflies\, bees\, hummingbirds\, and flowering plants\, and discuss th e importance of native species\, and the growing threats and stressors to these essential wildlife visitors.
\nSuzanne Mahler has been develop ing her 1.5 acre property for 45 years and is an avid plant collector with extensive collections of woody plants and perennials including more than 300 daylily cultivars and 250 varieties of hostas. \;She has been shar ing her passion for gardening for more than 35 years\, having spoken at th e Boston\, Rhode Island\, and New England Spring Flower Shows\, Art in Blo om at the Museum of Fine Arts\, the Environmental Protection Agency\, and garden clubs and organizations throughout the New England area. \;Suza nne is past President of the New England Daylily Society\, an Overseer for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society\, Horticulture Chair for the Gard en Club Federation\, and works part-time at a local garden center. \;& nbsp\;
