This program will feature a selection of p ieces for piano and piano/electronics by composers on six continents. In t he spirit of eco-artivism\, the music asks urgent questions of the listene r\, such as: How do our actions generate positive change for the environme nt? How can we live more mindfully and conscientiously as global citizens? What sustainable impact can we create for generations to come? Audience m embers will hear vanishing shorelines echoed in vanishing notes\, cracking Arctic ice\, and music that reflects on grief\, hope and more.

\nAnn DuHamel is currently Associate Professor of Music at the University of Minn
esota Morris\, where she devotes herself to the mission of sharing high qu
ality traditional and contemporary classical music with students and the g
reater community. Prior to earning a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in pian
o performance and pedagogy at the University of Iowa\, Ann was Assistant A
rtistic Director at the Wirth Center in St. Cloud\, MN for 8 years. An act
ive member of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association for over 24 years\,
Ann is Immediate Past President of the organization. Some of her most imp
ortant contributions on the MMTA Board of Directors include initiating a D
iversity-Equity-Inclusion committee\, as well as ushering forth a Land Ack
