  to support the incredible work that the The <a href="https://www.thefoodb
 ank.ca/">Food Bank of Waterloo Region</a> does to support people in our co
 mmunities. They will be running a Food Drive from Monday\, October 3rd to 
 Tuesday\, October 11th.</p>\n<p>The Kids Care Action Group is an ongoing p
 rogram at WPL to encourage kids ages 8-12 years old to get involved in the
 ir community. This fall we are focusing on food security and food justice 
 in Waterloo Region. On top of organizing this food drive\, the Kids Care A
 ction Group will be making a community art project and discussing how kids
  and tweens can get involved in civic engagement and mutual aid.</p>\n<p>W
 e will be accepting donations of diverse\, high-quality pantry items that 
 are well before their expiry date at all four WPL locations.</p>\n<p>Some 
 of the most needed items are:</p>\n<ul style="list-style-type: square\;">\
 n<li>Canned Fruit</li>\n<li>Rice</li>\n<li>Individually packaged items (gr
 anola bars\, apple sauce\, pudding cups\, etc)</li>\n<li>Dry beans</li>\n<
