In partnership with the University of Arka nsas\, Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS) is an international opportunity for students in grades 6-8 to engage with ma thematics to strengthen their problem-solving skills and meet with other s tudents excited about mathematics.

Two teams will be crea ted - one for students in grades 4&ndash\;6 and one for those in 6&ndash\; 8. Students in grade 6 have the option of participating on either team. We will be meeting weekly to discuss general problem-solving strategies and to work on problems from competitions in previous years. These free meetin gs will take place from 5:30&ndash\;6:30 p.m. starting Wednesday\, October 19\, and will continue through Wednesday\, March 15. Five competitions wi ll take place approximately once a month. \; \;
