Welcome to our inclusive book club for tee ns! The focus of this informal book club is to engage in meaningful conver sation with your friends while talking about books. In this book club\, we &rsquo\;ll focus on choosing books together that feature characters who fe el marginalized and like they don&rsquo\;t fit in. We may read about chara cters who don&rsquo\;t fit in because of gender identity\, physical abilit y\, race\, sexual orientation\, or body image. Maybe they don&rsquo\;t fit in because of a learning disability\, their nation of origin\, or because of their family&rsquo\;s economic status.
\nOur book club is a safe space to hang out with your old friends and meet new ones. Help us select the book and we&rsquo\;ll offer an activity while we share our thoughts o n the book and the issues it brings up. Activities may include making frie ndship bracelets\, origami\, or creating bookmarks. Join us for this inclu sive new book club where you may just see yourself on the page of a book.< /p>\n
This month we&rsquo\;ll meet on the first and second Wednesday of the month at the Windsor Severance Library. We&rsquo\;ll provide the book for you at our first meeting on December 7\, 2022. Our second meeting will be on December 14.
