Therapy dogs are specially trained for the se kinds of activities and can help reduce your child&rsquo\;s stress and anxiety. Reading to dogs can boost reading skills in children as well as h elp with emotional and social skills\, giving your child the opportunity t o read to a canine buddy or companion in a safe and nonjudgmental environm ent. Drop-in between 4:30 to 5:30pm pm on Mondays ( Monthly) to give your child an opportunity to practice their reading skills one-on-one with a tr ained therapy dog. Spots are available on a first-come\, first-served basi s. This activity is for children age 5-12 years old.
