\nHave you eve r given birth? Are you currently pregnant? Do you want to share your exper ience? Do you have questions that need answering? Looking for a way to con nect with other Black women during this sacred time? Join us.
\nThe Birth Story Project is a safe space for Black women to share their birth e xperiences. Using a sharing circle format\, women are encouraged to share as much or as little as they want: the good\, the celebratory\, the trauma tic\, the painful\, and everything in between.
\nThe circles are led and facilitated by Nicole Deggins\, CNM\, MSN\, MPH of Sista Midwife Prod uctions. It is an opportunity to help others\, to heal\, to network\, and to be a part of the movement to save Black mothers and Black babies. No ma tter when\, where\, or how you gave birth\, we would love for you to share your story.
\nThis event is family friendly. There will be an activ ity circle provided for children ages 2 - 8. Refreshments will be served.& nbsp\;
