 s writes for young adults and has twice won the Geoffrey Bilson Award for 
 Historical Fiction (Uncertain Soldier and Graffiti Knight). Her newest nov
 el\, Blood Donor\, is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard book and a Crim
 e Writers of Canada 2022 Best Juvenile or YA Crime Book finalist. She love
 s to write action and adventure. Blood Donor is her first thriller.</p>\n<

 er own kids. Those books were so much fun and so clever that creating one
