 scha\, or Easter\, Ukrainians write pysanky\, or decorate&nbsp\;eggs\, usi
 ng ancient symbols. From the deep past\, these patterns were thought to im
 bue the&nbsp\;egg&nbsp\;with magical powers and ward away evil spirits\, a
 nd they later took on Christian meanings. During this workshop\, participa
 nts will make their own pysanka using the traditional wax-resist method.&n
