 rosecuting attorney Fred MacMurray takes shoplifter Barbara Stanwyck home\
 , so she doesn't spend Christmas behind bars. Complications ensue with a s
 nappy script by Preston Sturges\, 94 min.</p>\n<p>December 15\, 6:30 pm: <
 strong>An American Tail (1986)&nbsp\;</strong>Don Bluth's animated Holocau
 st parable about the immigrant Mousekewitz family contains a heartfelt Han
 ukkah scene during the family's peril\, G\, 80 min.</p>\n<p>December 22\, 
 6:30 pm: <strong>A Christmas Carol (1951) </strong>One of the most beloved
  versions of the Dickens classic. Alistair Sim portrays Scrooge\, with Her
 mione Baddeley as Mrs. Cratchit\, 86 min.</p>\n<p>December 29\, 6:30 pm:<s
 trong> One Way Passage (1932)&nbsp\;</strong>William Powell and Kay Franci
 s star in this melancholy\, evocative tale of a terminally ill woman and a
  convicted murderer who share a pact to meet on New Year's Eve. It won an 
 Oscar for Best Original Script and has Frank McHugh thrown in for comic re
 lief. Go home afterward and cry over a Paradise Cocktail. 67 min.</p>\n<p>
