 ity to attend.</p>\n<p>Diane Mooney is the daughter of Master Penman\, Mr.
  Dudley Arnold. Mr. Arnold\, who was originally from Wales\, was twice pre
 sident of IAMPETH in 1971 and 1976.&nbsp\; IAMPETH stands for Internationa
 l Association of Master Penmen\, Engrossers\, and Teachers of Handwriting.
 &nbsp\; Diane will share what it was like growing up with a father who was
  an expert in the art of engrossing and illumination.&nbsp\; The second pa
 rt of the program will be conducted by Birmingham Calligraphy Guild Foundi
 ng Member\, Jim Davis.&nbsp\; He will share a documentary on the life of h
 is friend and Master Penman\, Mr. Bill Lilly. Mr Lilly was the recipient o
 f a gold seal in script from the Zanerian School of Penmanship in Columbus
 \, Ohio.&nbsp\; On display will be 350 envelopes received by Jim Davis dur
 ing a 25 year friendship with Mr. Lilly.&nbsp\; The documentary\, titled\,
  I&rsquo\;ve Had My Good Day will be shown\, after which attendees can exa
 mine the envelopes which are a one of a kind exhibit and have an opportuni
 ty to ask questions concerning the amazing life of Bill Lilly who passed a
 way on June 5\, 2021 at the age of 94.</p>\n<p>The Birmingham Calligraphy 
 Guild\,&nbsp\;formerly known as Les&nbsp\;Enlumineurs\, seeks to promote t
 he art of beautiful writing in the Birmingham metropolitan area and surrou
 nding states.</p>\n<p>Our membership consists of a very diverse group of c
 alligraphers\, from the hobbyist to the full-time professional and every l
 evel of interest in between. We come from Alabama\, Tennessee\, Florida\, 
 Georgia\, Mississippi\, and Kentucky and many of our members travel to Bir
 mingham to participate in the numerous learning opportunities hosted by th
